A message from the PTA president
The Twitchell Elementary School PTA is excited to welcome you to the new school year. We're going to make it an amazing one. The kids are back in class and we’re ready to get this year going with lots of fun events.
As an organization, the PTA is here to facilitate relationships between the parents, teachers and staff. We’ll help ensure that your child has a learning environment that will promote a positive school culture and lead them on their path to success. As a member of the PTA, you’ll have a voice in how our fundraising dollars are spent and you’ll stay informed with the day-to-day education of your child.
PTA membership enables you to be as involved as your schedule permits. It allows you to be active during school hours as well as during after school events that are fun for both you and your child.
Last year, through our fundraising efforts of the Fall Festival and the Fun Run, we were able to raise enough money to supply the school with their new reading program for the next three years! We were able to accomplish this because of the incredible parents, teachers, and staff that we have at Twitchell ES. We are proud of the community we have and the amount of support and parental involvement we receive. We have one of the largest participation PTA groups in Southern Nevada and it shows in what we are able to do for our school and our students.
Our goal this year is to raise enough money to supply Twitchell with the support materials for the new reading program and help give back to the teachers for their individual classroom needs.
